JOB DESCRIPTION: The Oncology Manager is a member of the pharmacy leadership team. Plans, organizes, directs and operates the department according to The University of Vermont Medical Center's goals, policies and practices. Job Objectives Provides pharmacy consulting services with empathy to patients regarding the effective usage of medications and awareness with drug interactions. Offers preventive and clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services. Responsible for ensuring the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines, company policies and procedures.
