Accounts Payable Manager required for organisation in Portsmouth on a hybrid basis

An opportunity to work with a growing organisation who are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in Portsmouth in line with their current growth plans.
Your new role
- Manage the small accounts payable team to support with bookkeeping and setting up payments; invoices, VAT returns etc
- Oversee the preparation of cashbooks, journals, and payments
- Review of cashbooks, journals, and payments to ensure they are completed to a high standard
- Responsible for team management, monitoring deadlines and coaching and developing junior members of staff
- Support consistency and standardisation across the wider team, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements
- Contribute recommendations for improving the organisation's operations where necessary.
What you'll need to succeed - Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by Experience
- Full right-to-work in the UK with experience working in an Accounts Payable Management Role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced role
