Assistant Accountant. £30,000 - £35,000 per annum. Hybrid Working

We are pleased to represent a respected and long-standing client located in North Down. They are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their established finance team. This market-leading company boasts an exceptional corporate culture and maintains low staff turnover.
Your new role
As a member of the existing finance team, your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining the sales ledger, dealing with client queries, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely billing.
• Allocate client payments and proactively monitor and manage debtors to secure payment of invoices within agreed timescales.
• Updating weekly and monthly sales forecasting reports and providing key information in support of monthly board packs.
• Bank reconciliations and reconciliations of credit card statements, cash receipts and petty cash.
• Assist with the preparation of end of year accounts.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, candidates must have at least three years of experience in a finance department. Excellent communication skills, both independently and as part of a team, are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required. Additionally, candidates should be able to work quickly, methodically, and logically, possess strong analytical skills, and meet strict deadlines.
