London, UK - Competitive GBP

Applicants must be eligible to work in the specified location
Exclusive opportunity to join this exceptionally well-regarded independent

Your new company
Formed as a split-off from a larger firm, we have been delighted to partner exclusively with this client since inception. The newest firm to enter the London/UK forensic market, the three founding partners are all established and highly regarded Experts in their own right and wanted to create a firm which offers Big Four quality service with the flexibility and responsiveness that comes from a small, dedicated team, without the independence concerns that come from other service lines. Even better, they themselves have had the experience of working in a split-off Forensic firm before and have distilled the best of that experience into their M.O. for the new firm. Having achieved Partner themselves in the last few years, they are well-positioned to mentor the next generation to becoming Experts in their own right.A superb opportunity to learn directly from and with some of the best in their field.

Your new role
The firm runs the full gamut of commercial disputes and is especially well-known in International Arbitration. On top of Arbitral matters, cases you could work on include:

  • Breaches of contract
  • Breaches of warranty
  • Valuation disputes
  • Accounting treatments
  • Investment Treaty disputes
  • Post M&A/transaction disputes
  • Contract review
  • Intellectual property
  • Shareholder/JV disputes
  • Funds & asset tracing

  • Casework is large firm equivalent and you will be opposite "household names" on every case. There is a proper pyramid structure in place, with staff in post from Director down to recently qualified ACAs. Therefore you'll have a good balance of mentors above you and resource below you, plus the firm's delivery capabilities are further augmented by a bank of tried & tested Consultants in the background.
You'll be given every chance to try levels of responsibility that you may not have been able to before, and promotion is 100% on merit.

    What you'll need to succeed
This is a Disputes/Valuation-led practice, so if your experience in Forensics is purely Fraud/Compliance etc this is not the right role for you.The firm are looking for
  • ACA qualified
  • At least 2-3 years post qualification experience in Disputes-led Forensic Accounting (less PQE though if your graduate training was in Forensics)
  • Highly personable - this is an outgoing, happy and professional team and personality fit will be important
  • Appetite to work in a new, still-growing boutique. Happy with the fact this means you're likely to be working with far fewer people than you're used to.

  • What you'll get in return
  • Being in on the ground floor of a challenger/disruptor firm in the London forensic market
  • Learning directly from your Expert mentors
  • Big 4 calibre work without having to work in a Big 4 firm
  • Being part of a culture where everything will be celebrated as a team
  • Working with genuinely lovely people
  • Fully egalitarian approach to bonus sharing
  • A name on your CV which will open Forensic doors wherever you want them to in the future

  • What you need to do now
