Finance Business Partner Belfast Hybrid - flexible working Up to £43000 per annum
Hays Accountancy and Finance are recruiting and working in partnership with a public sector organisation for the appointment of a Finance Business Partner, offering public benefits and flexible working conditions.
Job duties;

Identify budget risk areas and develop financial models to help budget holders manage budgets effectively.

Provide forecasting models and advice for budget holders.

Ensure compliance with Financial Regulations and Contract Standing Orders.

Maximise income sources and optimise collection systems.

Assist with special projects and statutory reporting.

Deliver formal financial training across the organisation.

Prepare information for elected members and the public on financial matters.

Respond to internal audit reports and take appropriate actions.

Stay informed about changing financial regimes and government legislation.

What you will need:

A recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.

Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.

Exposure to public sector finance and understanding of government regulations.
