Senior Underwriting Data Analyst (Permanent)
Location: City of London Country: UK
A leading Insurance firm is looking to hire a Senior Underwriting Data Analyst to join their Underwriting function. You will assist with the timely and accurate production of reporting, and support initiatives to improve the quality of data within the Underwriting Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhancing the existing Underwriting MI and Data Visualisation capabilities of ASML with the creation of new and insightful Power BI Dashboards
- Driving continuous improvements to existing processes and providing support with multiple large ongoing projects within the wider business
- Ensuring that internal and regulatory reporting is produced in an accurate and timely manner
- Working with Underwriting Management, Finance and Actuarial to collate and complete the Lloyd's QMB submission for Syndicate 2121
- Supporting initiatives to improve the quality of the data captured within the Underwriting Systems.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years of Lloyd's Market experience
- Experience with building dashboards and datasets within Power BI or similar visualization tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and engage with a range of stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SQL preferable
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and work-streams simultaneously.
