AWS DevOps Engineer (Financial services) (Contract)

Alexander Ash are currently working with a global organisation who are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for any AWS DevOps Engineer who is dedicated and will seek to identify improvements and efficiencies, while utilising new technologies and existing tools as the organisation takes on one of it's biggest bodies of work.

Responsibilties:

  • Lead the implementation and execution of DevOps practices within the Bank, ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams.
  • Utilise hands-on keyboard capability to drive technical excellence in key technologies, including AWS, ServiceNow, Teradata, and VMware.
  • Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development life cycle

Skillset:

  • Proven hands-on experience in key technologies, including AWS, ServiceNow, Teradata, and VMware.
  • Strong background in DevOps practices and methodologies.
  • Experience with DevSecOps principles and tools for integrating security into the software development process.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
