Mac Engineer (Contract)
Location: London Country: UK
Robert Half are assisting a global market leading marketing organisation to recruit a Mac Engineer on a 6 month contract - London based
Role
- The Mac Engineer will be comfortable acting as a solo Mac Engineer
- The Mac Engineer will provide support for Mac systems and applications
- Great customer service skills
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
- Monitor and maintain system performance
- Provide guidance and advice on system optimisation
Profile
- The Mac Engineer will provide end user support
- Familiar with Apple products, Windows, Google Workspace, but some use Microsoft.
- Management of LTO system (including rotation of onsite/offsite tapes and management of backup)
- Continuation of font audit (completion and rollout of stage 2)
- Work with and manage MSP helpdesk ticket management, wi-FI enhancement, onboarding/offboarding
- Offsite support/host of data backup
- Firewall and data security support
- Hardware management (including data backup/clean up of returned laptops for redistribution)
- Phone system rationalisation project
- Software application audits eg. Microsoft office/Adobe
- Ensuring our proprietary IT Bible and Backlog are kept up to date
