Product Development Manager - Antrim

We are seeking a dynamic Product Development Manager to join our client, a leading manufacturer in Antrim. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our product portfolio. Your passion for creating exceptional products that meet customer needs and drive business growth will be at the forefront of your responsibilities.
Your new role
You will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with our business goals. This includes defining and prioritising product features, enhancements, and new offerings, as well as creating a clear product roadmap that balances short-term wins with our long-term vision. Your role will also involve conducting market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. You will analyse data to inform product decisions and identify growth opportunities, while staying abreast of industry developments and technological advancements. As the overseer of the entire product life cycle, from concept to end-of-life, you will collaborate with our R&D, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely product launches. You will monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate based on market dynamics. In fostering a collaborative environment, you will work closely with our design, engineering, and quality assurance teams to translate concepts into tangible products. You will champion a user-centric approach, advocating for customer needs throughout the development process.

What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred). You should have proven experience (minimum 5 years) in product management, preferably in the construction or building materials' industry. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise data and make informed decisions, are essential. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are required, fostering collaboration and driving results. A passion for innovation, staying ahead of industry trends, and championing new ideas is a must. Understanding of uPVC materials, their properties, and applications is desirable.
