Your new role
Hays are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated secondary PE teacher who would be open to either long-term, permanent, or day-to-day roles in the North Devon area. Within this role, you may also be asked to cover other subjects, however, all plans will be provided. We are accepting applications from teachers who are seeking either a Full time or part-time work pattern, and we are able to offer a guaranteed payment contract for those seeking financial security. This position is suitable for NQTs/ECTs and qualified teachers with experience teaching PE within a secondary setting who are self-motivated and keen to progress. Hays education consultants will support you throughout this role and find you a new position at the end of the contract if necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to provide the necessary documents required for our compliance process, which includes eligibility to work in the UK, recent teaching or placement references, teaching qualifications, and a recent proof of address. Experience teaching the British National Curriculum is essential. We can help you obtain a new DBS if necessary, which you only pay for once in a role with Hays. Flexibility in this role is desired, including the ability to adapt your teaching techniques to suit the needs of your students. Demonstrating professional conduct at all times is essential, which includes adhering to all safeguarding policies.
