This recognisable start-up brand are looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst to support the existing Head of Data & Analytics, in continuing to enable the use of data to drive decisioning across marketing, customer, product and digital marketing performance,

This subscription based business have already made waves in the beauty and self-care industry, challenging major global brands with their vegan, ethical and cruelty-free products.

This role will suit someone that is looking for a step up into a role which requires you to wear many analytical hats, demonstrate the ability to take ownership of all strategic analytics and support the Head of Data & Analytics in continuing to grow the data capabilities.

The London office is looking to be the home of Data and Brand teams which will foster a culture of close collaboration and look for all decisions to be data led.

You will be supported by Data Engineers, and an Analyst that look after the BAU leaving you to deliver the more strategic business solutions and projects.

As a business they have invested in tools such as Google Analytics 4, BigQuery, dbt and Google Cloud but are open to other toolings you see necessary. Strong skills in SQL is essential as you you may be required to cleans some of the data and to be able to assess the data sets, prioritise analytical projects and build a data roadmap for the business. However the Head of Data Analytics feels the data in the business is in a really good place as they have worked with Data Engineers to do so.

This role requires someone who can wear many hats, take pro-active approach to identifying analytical needs across the business, a commercial approach in thinking, as well as the ability to always put the 'customer first'. You will need to be comfortable and skilled in navigating multiple stakeholders, all of which will be going on different journeys, and will have varying levels of needs and wants. And for the right person the opportunity for growth and ownership in this role is HUGE.

Required experience:

  • Experience in Data Analytics they use Google BigQuery, Google Analytics 4. They also would like some familiarity in dbt.
  • Familiar with common E-commerce testing and measurement strategies such as Geo-testing and marketing attribution.
  • You are an expert in using various analysis techniques, such as linear and logistic regression, significance testing, and statistical modelling.
  • Educated to degree level in a numerate/analytical subject.
  • Solutions focused approach, with an intellectual curious mindset and ambition to add value through your analytical work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain analytic results and models to a non-technical audience.
  • Comfortable working in a high growth environment, fast paced activity, ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Resilient mindset, courage, confidence and ambitious nature required!
