Are you an experienced SEN Teacher? We are working with a Primary School in Islington that is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Class Teacher to join their team starting in September 2024.

This SEN Primary School is an excellent school with consistently outstanding ratings in its last three inspections. The school follows a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach, continually refining practices to enhance learning opportunities for pupils.
Students enroled in this school face severe learning difficulties, with many having autism. Each child and young person is treated as an individual, and the school has a tailored curriculum that reflects their diverse needs.

Your Role as an SEN Class Teacher:
Prepare engaging lessons and assign homework.
Foster a positive and creative learning environment with a flexible teaching approach.
Promote enthusiasm and commitment to impact positively on student well-being and progress.
Have a positive approach to supporting behaviour that challenges.
Ensure all work is marked and evaluated promptly.
Develop lessons in line with curriculum requirements and prepare students for national examinations.

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status.
Right to work in the UK.
Evidence of good/outstanding school placement experience/observations.
Experience teaching SEN in the UK, specifically autism.
Passion for inspiring children to learn.
