Head of Business Analysis - Leading Investment Bank (Permanent)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: Up to £110k
 

I am seeking a Director-level Lead BA or Head of Business Analysis to oversee a team of business analysts and technical authors.

The Business Analysis Team plays a crucial role in defining and implementing business and information system solutions. They work to determine and align business requirements and support development for successful outcomes. This position entails managing the day-to-day activities of the Business Analysis Team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and aligning objectives
  • Enhancing Business Analysis standards and targets
  • Enhancing Data Analysis standards and targets
  • Enhancing Technical Authoring standards and targets
  • Monitoring performance and providing recognition and feedback
  • Enhancing individual performance and mentoring new staff
  • Collaborating with other Section Heads to enhance the software delivery process
  • Specifying business requirements for new and existing software applications
  • Assisting in production support matters when necessary
  • Adhering to agreed Analysis/Development standards
  • Recommending changes to internal standards and procedures as needed

Key qualifications for success include:

  • Previous experience in a Lead BA or BA Manager role, with familiarity in line management responsibilities
  • Demonstrated success in implementing Analysis best practices and standardizing processes
  • Deep understanding of the software development process and project life cycle
  • Ability to comprehend business user requirements
  • Strong business acumen and client-facing skills
  • Ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical skills to contribute to significant business changes
  • Self-assured, dynamic, and influential personality
  • Ability to work within tight timelines and in a team structure
  • Quick adaptability while maintaining quality work
  • Proactive attitude with a "can do, will do" approach
  • Knowledge of banking systems is essential.

This is a Full time role offering a salary of up to £110k plus a bonus. You will need to go into the office 2 days a week
