InfluxDB Engineer

Project environment:
- The InfluxDB serves as the timeseries database for the Thingworx IoT platform
- Telegraf is the open-source server agent that allows to collect metrics from sensors and systems.
- The installation runs on an OpenShift Container onPrem productive cluster
- Two Influx instances are logical and two OpenShift projects are divided, but they are set up in the same way in terms of content.
- The product versions used in the two environments can be on a different level, since updates are made and tested.

Tasks:
- Ensure the operation of the existing InfluxDB 2.x (currently Community Edition) and Telegraf (open source server agent)
- Update and patch management
- Regular check and documentation of the basic functions of the system according to the checklist. (eg checking the existence of current backups, user authentication and authorization, syslog,...)
- Monitoring of faulty processes and proactive avoidance of errors

Skills:
